"You're Dead in the Water! In a New England fishing village, undead fishermen emerge from the waves to seek their revenge."

This scale model recreation of Dead Man's Pier: Winter's Wake featured at Universal Studios Florida's Halloween Horror Nights 2022 was constructed with foam core, illustration board, and hand painted balsa wood.

My process began by creating a prototype model out of cardboard on top of a floor plan sketch to map out the space and scale. After, I began to construct the base of the final model out of white foam core and cardboard. I then used Bristol board and balsa wood to create the shingle and wood textures on top of the base. Next, I used black spray paint to create a base coat, giving the overall model more dimension once painted on top. I then used several layers of paint and model snow to complete the model.

This was a personal project made entirely by myself in my free time.
